New excellent update on ai news from excellent ai news aggregator ai search.

Edit: most impressive news is that the Nvidia avo harness together with claude managed to get 100% on arc agi 3 public benchmark, something that most models alone previously failed miserably at.  

Edit 2:  The fact adding a harness to claude allowed 100% on arc agi 3, when previously scores were under 30%, suggests that maybe llm technology with some additions might be able to reach agi, without having to resort to radically different architecture.

Intelligence might be simpler than some expected in its fundamental nature as Hawkins prior comments suggested.

This short video focuses on the AVO harness and how together with claude it managed to ace the public arc agi 3 benchmark.  Now it remains to be seen how it'll fare on the private arc agi 3 bench, but it will probably do well.  The AVO harness was not designed for arc agi 3 yet managed such impressive results of 100%.

 Due to a legal loophole, vast invasion of privacy has become possible.   The video covers the origin, mechanisms of operation, and how widespread a vast spy camera network has become in America.  Able to track all of one's travel destinations and can be accessed without warrant by any cop any time.  Some sources say the security is low and even unknown people might be able to access it but that's just unverified rumors for now.

Comment: Interesting video showing some of the many advantages codex seems to have over claude.  Some of the things are not even available in Claude, others are available in Claude but require manual input while Codex handles in a more plug and play automated easy way.  Also other features like voice are far more polished and intuitve in Codex. Plus on top of that it seems with Chatgpt subscription you now get access to a powerful vm(a virtual machine, or a computer running on the servers in a data center.) to more easily handle ai and agentic tasks.

AI researcher update and ai news

 Youtuber Dylan Curious provides updates on Demis Hassabis.  Demis Hassabis of Deepmind, is a long time ai researcher pursuing agi.  Also other ai news are provided.   The news are amusing and interesting, and I won't spoil them.

New updates to mcp make it more useful.

Big improvements including making it stateless and added authentication hardening.  Good commentary and explanation from this youtuber.  There appear to still be issues, but mostly a great improvement from what was before.
