8i introduces fully volumetric 3D video

Volumetric video tech will improve with time, eventually movies and events will be recorded with such technology.  It will enable people to walk around in movies, news, sports, etc.   The immersion will be out of this world once screendoor free, tether(wire) free. 'retina' rez displays are available.



It won't just be VR, but AR as well.  It is conceivable that homes will have  a set of all around cameras at multiple location, such that Telepresence can be accomplished in both VR and AR.   Thus a photoreal, visually indistinguishable from real human or humans will appear in your room, and you'll be able to walk around from all angles.
