On evil

An intrinsic aspect of existence.  Part of the eternal truth of the world.

The part of the body of truth that is often blindly questioned, maligned, detested by those who believe they are on the side of the good.

Yet despite the tragedies that befall, how can we deny any aspect of existence?  The story of the world, how could it be told without being complete?

Evil in its brokenness, the errors in its appearance, it still reflects the truth, it still reaffirms the truth, as it is a part of it.

Some commit evil out of hate, others out of ignorance, yet other's still believe they are doing good while committing evil.

Failure and Success,  Light and Shadow, Good and Evil, the contrast between opposites helps set the boundaries and allow us to see the true nature of the concepts.  Intimately tied and dependent, two sides of the same cloth forever bound and intertwined.   The more you understand them the more you come to realize the weaving that binds them crisscrossing from one side to the other.

Time and again history repeats, evil is not abolished but redefined through the ages.

Given it is inevitable, the stance can be to appreciate it, without embracing it, despite the suffering evil brings, or to blindly detest evil without knowing how bound it is to the nature of the world, and how such blind hatred of evil may very well lead one unknowingly down the path of evil.
