Video about Unsloth studio

comment: Youtube channel Learn Meta-Analysis goes over first impressions the unsloth studio ui.  There are many benefits to the ui, and according to the youtuber it can do video, images, and text, iirc.  Of course that depends on the loaded model.  Can also work with web based models not just local models.

New benchmark that is far from being saturated.  Called slop code bench.  It tests error accumulation and maintainability as agents continue working on same code base.

Encyclopedic parrots...

Comment

The first llms were called stochastic parrots, but eventually they did prove to have some degree of intelligence, disproving the label.

But that said, I think a better label is encyclopedic parrot, even to this day the latest llms, still make mistakes when asked obvious questions that are outside their training data.  But they can make very intelligent responses within and around the training data.  So I think encyclopedic parrot might be a better label for them.

They have intelligence, but not agi yet, just proto agi.
