Researchers from Harvard Medical School just announced that resveratrol, a polyphenolic compound found in red wine, duplicates the life-extending benefits of caloric restriction in a yeast model. In a paper published in the August 24 online edition of the journal, Nature, they report that resveratrol was shown to extend the lifespan of yeast by up to 80 percent.-link

This video shows that mcdonalds actually uses real edible food for the ads, which many people used to think used nonedible artificial better looking materials. The reality is that careful placing of ingredients, and cooking make for an ideal look.

Researchers challenge study that resveratrol lessens exercise benefits for the heart

On October 15, 2013, James M. Smoliga, an Associate Professor with High Point University. and Otis L. Blanchard, a private researcher and President and CTO of Wilmore Labs LLC wrote an editorial; highlighting flaws of the study. Blanchard and Smoliga reviewed the study, saying the conclusions were “incorrect”.-link
Flaws were found on a negative study on resveratrol. Negative studies on supplements have the potential to reduce sales, but there are times when the studies are flawed.
